Baker School Relay Kids K-12
For over a quarter of a century the Baker to Vegas (B2V) Relay and LAPD Police Revolver and Athletic Club have had a wonderful relationship with the Baker Community and especially the school. Race officials continue to encourage all participants to visit the school and see its show of pride in the relay race event.
This year the students at the school will participate in the First Annual Baker School Relay. Approximately 25 children will run from in front of the school to the B2V Relay Starting Line on Saturday morning, B2V race day. Race officials have requested 25 Baker to Vegas teams to each take one child as a member of their team and issue the school child a team jersey. To do this, contact Eric Drake, a teacher at Baker School. (Email TeamACSO for contact information to donate to the Baker School.)
To date, the Baker School Relay is now full and each child in the race has received a t-shirt! The next step is to get all the children at the school wear a t-shirt from teams in the race! The school Principal Ronda Tremblay can also be reached at ronda_tremblay@baker.k12.ca.us.

Hello All! As we enter the last month before the race, we are picking up speed and readying ourselves for the festivities.
This year we are staying at the Marriot Springhill Suites, which is located right across the street from the Host Hotel, The Hilton.
Our start time has been posted as 1100 hours on April 17th in Baker Ca, with an intended end time of 0500 hours on April 18th in Las Vegas inside the Hilton Hotel. Last year, teams finished the race by running through the entrance of the Hilton and into a Grand Ball Room to cheering spectators and news cameras.
